Nutty, toasty and exceptionally smooth with a sweet grassy and buttery aftertaste. No bitterness here even with an extended brew time. This green tea is instantly recognizable by its very flat, long and smooth leaf shape and is often a favorite of professional tasters. Dragonwell (from Zhejiang Province, China) is one of the most well-known of the single-estate teas and is a perfect choice for even the pickiest of green tea drinkers. Tip: As with any green tea, don’t forget to wet it with cold water before brewing to protect from scalding.

It's a perfectly fine Dragonwell. The chestnut character is there but I wish the smooth was more pronounced. I tend to prefer a bolder cup. Still, fresh leaves and fair pricing.

I've tried dozens of teas and this Dragonwell from Contour Coffee is exceptional. The toasted notes are perfectly balanced — not overpowering, just right. My daily tea for over a year now.

Really nice Dragonwell. The toasted flavor is authentic and well-balanced. I usually drink Bigelow tea but this compares favorably. Will definitely reorder.

Outstanding Green Tea. I served this at a brunch and three people asked where to buy it. The smooth and vegetal are elegant and well-balanced. Contour Coffee knows their tea.

This Dragonwell convinced my coffee-drinking husband to switch to tea in the afternoons. The grassy flavor is rich enough to satisfy but clean enough to feel restorative. We order 2 pounds at a time now.

Good tea, just a touch delicate for my taste. That said, the chestnut notes are genuine and the leaves are clearly high quality. I'd buy another variety from Contour Coffee.
